We’ve all heard horror stories from friends, family, and neighbors of home renovations that have gone wrong. From disappearing acts once a project has started leading to timelines that extend well beyond the estimated completion date to surprise invoices and bills at the conclusion of projects for work that was presumed to be part of the initial estimate. These disputes can get contentious and messy and can even lead to lengthy legal battles. Redefined Living is different.
We promise to deliver your project successfully
and on time for a single up-front fixed price.
Once we verify the existing conditions of your property, take measurements, and complete our due diligence process, we will finalize an estimate and absorb any unforeseen project costs after the demolition phase of the project. Unlike traditional contractors who avoid responsibility, we at Redefined Living are taking it back. Here is how we deliver your project successfully:
How Our Promise Works

During the design phase, we work with you to finalize all layouts, systems, products, and finish decisions. Our build team will perform due diligence on the property and take measurements to verify its existing conditions and identify any defects or areas of risk for the project.

During the build phase, we agree to absorb the cost of surprises like:
Minor property damage
Procurement issues
Theft by authorized personnel
Work delivered without an approved change order
Poor project planning
Pricing errors
Poor workmanship
We exclude the following and do not absorb costs associated with the following risk events:
Acts of God (e.g. flood, earthquake, etc.)
Acts of Man (e.g. war, strikes, riots, etc.)
Homeowner-Led Change Orders (e.g. homeowner alters the project during the contract)
Major Demolition Surprises (structural, flooring, plumbing, electrical, ductwork, asbestos, termites and other critters, etc.)

During the build phase, if you decide to amend the original contract in a substantial way, you agree to pay a reasonable penalty plus the cost of the change order itself and to extend the completion date accordingly. If there are any third-party or government-required changes, we will work with you to minimize the cost.

We have established our own quality standards. We will meet or exceed these standards, even at our own cost, to ensure we leave your home perfect and our team bursting with pride.
